Up until now, we have been using badges to mark various achievements: starting a discussion thread, gaining a certain number of copiers/followers, making a certain number of comments, etc.
Based on the feedback we got from you, our users, we have decided to discontinue this feature, starting Sunday, November 3.
Why the change?
Basically, you’ve helped us realize that this extra information was going largely unnoticed, and those of you who did notice it didn’t find it very useful.
What’s to come?
While we’ve decided to discontinue the current version of profile badges, we do have plans to introduce new and exciting profile features which will provide you with more relevant and useful information.
