Hi, Marius! Thanks for chatting with us today. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I am 31 years old and a finance professional. I consider myself a strategic investor rather than a trader, as my investments are really oriented for the long term. Stock investing is my true passion.
What experience did you have with financial investments before joining eToro?
I hold a master’s degree in finance and have been working in the finance industry for 5 years now. I have experience in various positions in asset management, as well as corporate finance.
Why did you choose to join eToro?
I really liked the concept of a social trading platform. eToro enables finance professionals to share their knowledge in trading, which allows someone who is not necessarily an expert to invest on a professional level.
What are the three key benefits of using eToro?
Number one would be the ability to share your investment experience with others. The other two top advantages are that you can invest easily in a broad range of asset classes, and also the access to leveraged investments.
What type of trading strategy are you focused on?
What is great about eToro is that I have the flexibility to invest in whichever assets I favor most, and I can easily adjust my strategy when necessary. While last year I was investing heavily in cryptocurrencies, this year I am more focused on stock market investments.
I am investing for the long-term in industries which, in my opinion, have the best prospects for growth. Right now, I favor US Tech companies that have had a good run during the last few years and continue to show positive momentum in recent months, contributing significantly to the overall S&P return.
