How is the 1% reward calculated?

We calculate your reward using the month-end closing price of the crypto deposited. The calculation does not include transfers between the eToro trading platform and the eToro Crypto Wallet, or any crypto-to-currency conversion.

Can I convert my crypto to fiat on eToro?

If you are an eligible eToro Club member in the UK, Europe, or Australia with an active eToro crypto wallet and an active eToro GBP account, EUR account, or AUD account, you can convert the following coins.

You can also transfer your crypto to the eToro wallet either from the eToro investment platform or from an external source (crypto wallet or exchange).

Which cryptoassets can I convert to fiat?

Currently, selling crypto for USD, GBP, EUR or AUD on eToro is available for supported cryptoassets).

Can I convert crypto from my eToro portfolio to fiat?

Yes. If you hold positions in any of the supported cryptoassets* on the eToro platform, you can transfer them to your eToro crypto wallet, and then convert them to USD, GBP, EUR or AUD.

Can I convert crypto from a wallet or exchange that is not eToro?

Yes. If you hold any of the supported cryptoassets* in an external wallet or exchange, you may transfer them to your eToro crypto wallet, and then convert them to USD, GBP, EUR or AUD.

Please note: The only fee that applies when you transfer crypto from an external source is a blockchain fee. For more information about this, please refer to the eToro Fees page.

How do I transfer crypto to my portfolio as an investment position?

1. In the Wallet tab, click the crypto wallet you want to transfer from.
2. In the crypto wallet, click Transfer.
3. Choose the amount and click Review request.
4. Review the transfer details, agree, and confirm to finalize the transaction.
5. Confirm with the 2FA code sent to your device.

That’s it. Your crypto position should appear in your portfolio within 15 minutes.

How do I convert my crypto to my local currency?

You can sell any of the supported cryptoassets* in the eToro crypto wallet for UYou can sell any of the supported cryptoassets* in the eToro crypto wallet for your local currency (either GBP, EUR or AUD, depending on your country of residence). 

1. Open the wallet tab on the eToro app. 
2. Click the Crypto currency wallet you wish  to sell from.
3. Tap “Sell” to convert your crypto into USD, GBP, EUR or AUD. 
4. The funds will be credited to your corresponding account balance.

Please note:

• The conversion process may take up to approximately 15 minutes.
• eToro’s maximum slippage guarantee* ensures that you will receive at least 95% of the expected value when converting crypto, even if market price changes affect the conversion rate.
