The Labs team is a blockchain incubator where we research, experiment and build new products for the future of finance.

We are eToro’s crypto and web3 innovation unit, tasked with exploring how eToro can take a leading position in defining the next generation of financial services. We want to build fair, open and accessible financial solutions for everyone to trade and invest in a simple and transparent way. We build products utilizing cutting edge DeFi technologies, such as non-custodial wallet solutions with NFT support, as well as infrastructure for participating in Proof-of-Stake consensus networks.

The Labs team has a bright and spacious office located in one of the Symbion locations at the South Campus of the University of Copenhagen (KUA).

Responsibilities

As a Full-stack Developer at eToro labs, you will be faced with a broad number of challenges on a daily basis. Your work would typically involve the following:

• Develop and maintain user-facing blockchain.
• Advise the rest of the team on latest advances in full-stack development
• Stay up to date on blockchain development
• Help extend and improve testing coverage of new and existing applications

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience using JavaScript with types
• Practical experience with frontend development (preferably in React/Next.js and Tailwind)
• Experience in building or architecture larger software systems
• Bachelor's degree or similar in related field

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in participating in a cyclical and planned, but also dynamic and occasionally spontaneous, research-driven development culture.
• Experience with or interest in finance and trading systems, and a personal interest in blockchain-related technologies.
• Operational experience with staking for Proof-of-Stake based blockchains, like Ethereum or Cardano.
• Solidity and knowledge/experience with EVM semantics and smart-contract design
• Functional programming experience and/or programming language design
• Familiarity with DevOps operations, including:
• Kubernetes with Helm, Azure and Vercel
• ELK Stack, Jenkins, DataDog, Pagerduty, Prometheus
• Golang
