Come join our Award Winning Compliance team! The Compliance team are key members of eToro USA’s team.
The Compliance Department provides service, support, and advice to promote the Firm’s growth and development while helping employees and the firm meet their regulatory obligations, and more broadly, to preserve and enhance our reputation for integrity. This role will support the firms compliance program for its money service (“MSB”), digital asset business, and broker dealer (“BD”) businesses. The role will support and execute the necessary governance to ensure eToro US meets its regulatory obligations and requirements under state and federal laws.
What will you be doing?
- Enhance and maintain effective infrastructure and corresponding policies and procedures for governance of eToro’s cryptocurrency
- Ensure all regulatory reporting requirements, such as permissible investment reports, call reports, and audited financial statements, etc. are met accurately and timely
- Ensure all necessary maintenance, renewal, and notification requirements are met for eToro’s money transmitter licenses, including but not limited to regular NMLS filings, FinCEN registrations and renewals, surety bond reviews and adjustments, and annual state license renewals.
- Provide general support for regulatory examinations and audits
- Other projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in financial industry, preferably with experience with money service businesses, crypto, and/or money transmitter licenses
- Does not need any FINRA licenses, but should be open to obtaining if necessary
- Audit or program management experience would be beneficial
- Foundational understanding of and familiarity with the broker dealer industry
- Has the ability to analyze situations for compliance and business risk, and propose solutions to address and mitigate such risk
- Strong abilities in analytical thinking, problem solving, research, and time management
- Ability to raise concerns and ask questions
- Effective and efficient time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and highly accurate
- A self-starter that enjoys a team-oriented approach
- Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, and interpersonal skill
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced start-up
