eToro becomes main partner of SBV Vitesse

The official launch of the new Vitesse match jersey is always a moment that many people look forward to, but this time the presentation has an even more special character. That is because Vitesse are proud to announce that the unveiled shirts feature the name of our new main partner, eToro. The deal with the leading social investment platform is initially for one season, with an option for another year and a clear intention to make it a long-term cooperation.

Invest in the future, together

eToro has been the global leader in social investing for more than a decade, with a community of more than 20 million registered users from over 100 countries. The social aspect of the platform means that eToro investors can share their knowledge and ideas with each other. As a multi-asset investment platform, eToro offers clients a choice of which asset classes to invest in, from commission free stocks through to crypto, and a choice of how to invest. Users can trade directly, copy another investor or invest in eToro’s smart portfolios.

eToro partners with a considerable number of clubs in the world of football, tapping into the communities behind the teams to offer free educational content to fans, providing more people with the information they need to invest in the capital markets, understand the risk and actively engage with their investments. In both England and Germany, eToro has spread its wings with multiple club partnerships. It is also the shirt sponsor of AS Monaco, SK Slavia Prague and CFR Cluj. So Vitesse is in good company with this sponsorship. This partnership demonstrates eToro’s commitment to the Dutch market. For the club from Arnhem, it is in turn a great opportunity to invest in the future and the steps that need to be taken to achieve the ambitions, together with eToro.

Vitesse and eToro believe in more

Peter Rovers, Commercial Director of Vitesse: “We are proud that we can present the international brand eToro as our new main partner. The fact that we are going to cooperate with the world’s largest social investment platform, shows that Vitesse is ready for the future. We believe that more is possible at Vitesse and eToro fits seamlessly into this vision,”

Nir Smulewicz, Vice President of Marketing at eToro: “We are delighted to be partnering with Vitesse. The Dutch market is a key one for eToro and through this partnership we hope to empower more people to understand the importance of long-term investing and diversification to grow their wealth.”
