  1. Tell us a little bit about yourself

I have a degree in Accountancy, but my passion is the stock market. I really like to learn every day about investing, and research how to find new stocks that show potential. I also like to make friends, and meet different people.

  1. Did you have previous experience with financial investments before joining eToro?

Yes, I do. I have been investing since 2010 in the Argentinian stock market. In addition, I practice with a simulator on Investopedia, in which I choose stocks in the U.S. market.

  1. Why did you choose to join eToro?

I decided to try eToro because I saw good reviews for the site. It was a good decision, I really like eToro.

  1. What are the three key benefits of using eToro?

The first benefit is the possibility to be able to copy or be copied by other people. The second is the possibility to buy many stocks for as little as $50, even ones that cost $1,000 or more in traditional markets. The last benefit is that you can invest in many different asset classes, such as stocks, commodities, cryptocurrencies, indices etc.

  1. How has eToro changed the way you trade?

eToro has changed the way I trade because on eToro, I have the opportunity to invest in a lot of different asset classes. I can now invest in commodities, cryptocurrencies, or indices, while in the past I only focused on stocks.

  1. What is your type of trading strategy and what is it focused on?

I usually try to choose a select group of stocks and hold them for the long-term. I like to look at each company’s income statement, balance sheet, and cashflow before deciding whether or not to buy. In the past few months, I have been buying and selling more, but usually I prefer to keep my stocks for the long-term.

  1. What are the benefits of being a Popular Investor and what is your long-term goal?

The Popular Investor Program has the benefit  of providing me with extra income for achieving good results. My goal at the moment is to reach the Rising Star level within the next couple of months, then rise to the level of Champion. I would like to reach the Elite level in the future, but I think it will take more than a year and a half to meet all of the requirements.

  1. What are your hobbies?

I like to read a lot, also i like to play table tennis, meet with my friends, and play poker.

We wish Gonzalo the best of luck as he climbs the ranks of the Popular Investor program.
