Market-leading FX Rates
The rate you get from most companies will often include a combination of multiple fees. That could be a flat fee for spending abroad, a mark-up on the FX rate they’re given by the card provider, or the mark-up the card provider adds to the rate they’re supplied with – in some cases, all three.
With us it’s simple. We offer you our supplier’s rate, with a simple mark-up. We do not pass on any card-scheme fees, and there’s no other fees. That’s how we regularly achieve one of the market-leading FX rates.

The eToro Exchange rate is calculated as follows
- For eToro Approved Currencies, between Sunday (10:02PM) and Friday (10PM), eToro adds a mark up of 0.25% over the rate provided by our currency provider. Outside these hours, the mark up over the rates provided by our currency provider is 0.5%.
- All other currencies attract a mark up of 0.55% above the rate provided by our currency provider, regardless of time or day of the week.
