Zscaler Inc. is a cloud-based InfoSec (information security) company that helps other businesses and organisations keep their data secure and safe from cybercriminals. The company was founded in 2007 and has its headquarters in San Jose, California. The company manages over 150 data centres globally, although most of its customers are individuals and businesses in the US. It handles approximately 150 billion transactions every day and has more than 20 million licensed seats.

Zscaler assists with securing online interactions between users within an organization, SaaS, data centres, and other services used by organisations. The company also helps to keep track of data transfers as well as storage within a network. Instead of selling its services directly to clients, Zscaler partners with channels partners, including Verizon and AT&T. Zscaler has several high-profile investors, including EMC Corporation and Google Capital.

Zscaler trades publicly on the NASDAQ under the stock ticker ZS. Offering its services to internet providers around the world, the company has a portfolio of products that includes the Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), the Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and the Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX).
