What Is Wayfair Inc.?
Founded in 2002, Wayfair Inc. is one of the largest retailers in the world, selling furniture, accessories, houseware, and home improvement products. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, it operates internationally. As of December 2021, Wayfair has more than 16,000 employees throughout North America and Europe. Two of its corporate offices are located in Europe with another five in the United States. Wayfair has more than 45 fulfilment and home delivery centres in the United States and four in Europe.

The company offers its goods under the Wayfair, Joss & Main, AllModern, Birch Lane, and Perigold Brands. Wayfair features 22 million products from more than 16,000 different suppliers. As of December 2021, the company has approximately 29 million active subscribers and customers. The company also provides solutions for business customers under Wayfair Professional, which allows them to access and search specific merchandise suited for business environments. In addition, the company offers a Wayfair credit card, which includes discounted offers, and gift cards.

In 2022, Wayfair opened its first brick-and-mortar stores. These stores carry the AllModern and Joss & Main brands and are located in Massachusetts. The company is publicly listed on the NYSE under the W ticker.
