Viavi Solutions Inc. is an American technology company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company is engaged in the provision of network and service enabling solutions as well as optical security, and performance products and solutions, mainly serving communications service providers and IT organisations worldwide. The firm was founded in 1979.

The company offers installation, commissioning, scripting, custom analytics, integration, business intelligence consulting, operational assistance, and field and lab testing, as well as other services such as technical training, maintenance, and support services. The firm’s expertise in light management and optical coatings is utilised in a wide range of applications, including protecting bank notes from counterfeiters, and enabling advanced technology such as 3D sensing.

The company operates through three segments: Network Enablement, Service Enablement, and Optical Security and Performance Products. Viavi Solutions offers products in a broad range of areas, including fibre optic testers, MPO test equipment, power metres, fibre optic sensors and fibre monitoring. The company serves clients in a variety of industries and markets, including consumer, government, automotive, and industrial. The firm is listed on the NASDAQ where it trades under the ticker VIAV.
