Twilio Inc. offers a cloud communications platform to customers around the world. The company's platform enables developers to build, scale, and operate real-time communications within software applications. Founded in 2008, Twilio has its headquarters in San Francisco, California.

Twilio's platform includes software designed to address specific use cases, such as account security and contact centres, and includes a set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The company offers a set of APIs that allow developers to embed video, voice, messaging, and email capabilities into their applications. The platform's software layer, the Super Network, allows its customers' software to communicate with connected devices globally. Twilio's platform supports connection to communications networks and inbox service providers around the world.
