With a heritage dating back to 1902, Suncorp Group Limited is an Australian financial services company headquartered in Brisbane, Australia. The group was formed through a merger of Suncorp, Metway Bank and the Queensland Industry Development Corporation in 1996.

Suncorp Group offers a range of financial services, including retail and business banking, life and general insurance, superannuation and various funds services. Suncorp Group’s product offerings include personal banking, loans, personal insurance products, credit cards, commercial lending, pensions accounts, property development finance and lease financing. The group has operations in the Australian and New Zealand markets, where it is one of the leading mid-sized banks and one of its largest general insurance companies. As of August 2020, Suncorp Group has over 68 companies under its corporate umbrella.

The group delivers its services through a range of brands, including banking and wealth services under Suncorp, insurance services in Australia under Suncorp, AAMI, GIO, Bingle, Vero and others. Insurance services in New Zealand are provided under the Vero, Suncorp, Asteron Life and AA Insurance brands. Suncorp Group stock is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker SUN.
