What Is RH?
RH is a home furnishings retailer that operates in the US and Canada. The company offers a wide range of products, including furniture, décor, lighting, bathware, textiles, and garden and outdoor furnishings. Incorporated in 2011, RH was founded in 1979 and has its headquarters in Corte Madera, California.

Formerly known as Restoration Hardware Holdings, Inc., the company changed its name to RH in January 2017. RH operates its business through three segments, including RH, Waterworks, and Real Estate Development. Through the RH and Waterworks segments, the company handles all customer sales channels and its commercial channel. The company's Real Estate Development segment handles operations associated with its equity method investments. RH offers its products through retail galleries, catalogues, and online through rh.com, rhteen.com, rhbabyandchild.com, rhmodern.com, and waterworks.com.

Available on the NYSE, the company is listed under the ticker RH. As of 30 January 2021, it operates over 100 stores through the United States and Canada, including galleries and outlet stores. RH also operates 14 Waterworks showrooms within the United States and the United Kingdom. In spring 2022, the company plans to launch its first RH Guesthouse in New York, a boutique hotel, that represents the beginning of the company's foray into luxury accommodations.
