Pinterest, Inc. is a leading social media provider operating internationally. The company offers a visual discovery engine for finding ideas, such as recipes and style inspiration. Founded in 2010, Pinterest has its headquarters in San Francisco, California.

Pinterest was founded by Ben Silbermann, Evan Sharp, and Paul Sciarra. The company's site is accessible almost worldwide and is available in a wide range of languages. As of December 2021, the site has more than 400 million monthly active users, with 85% of users utilising the mobile app. More than 50% of the site's users live outside of the United States. Estimates indicate that roughly 75% of Pinterest users are female. More than 240 billion pins, or posts, have been saved by the site's users.

Stock for Pinterest is listed on the NYSE under the ticker PINS. As of December 2021, the company employs over 2,200 workers around the world. The company maintains offices in Atlanta, Berlin, Chicago, Detroit, Dublin, London, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, Paris, Sao Paulo, Seattle, and Tokyo. On 6 December 2021, Pinterest announced the acquisition of Vochi, a video creation and editing app. Vochi is expected to remain as a standalone app.
