Pebblebrook Hotel Trust is a publicly listed real estate investment trust (REIT) formed with the objective of acquiring and investing in upper luxury, full-service hotel and resort assets situated in or near major United States gateway cities. The company's portfolio includes hotels with room inventory in both urban and resort regions.

The largest owner of urban and resort lifestyle hotels in the US, the company has 53 hotels with a combined capacity of roughly 13,200 bedrooms in 14 urban and resort regions, with a particular emphasis on West Coast gateway towns, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, San Diego, Naples, Key West, Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, and Miami. Additionally, the company seeks to invest in resort assets situated in close proximity to its urban target areas as well as in select destination resort regions, such as south Florida and southern California.

Pebblebrook stock is listed on the NYSE under the ticker PEB. On 3 December 2021, Pebblebrook Hotel Trust announced that it had acquired the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, a 210-room hacienda-style resort in La Jolla, California, for $108m and contracted Noble House Hotels & Resorts to run its operations.
