Opendoor Technologies Inc. is an online real estate company that provides a digital platform enabling residential real estate owners to easily list and sell their home. The firm provides a website and mobile app allowing consumers to sell, or buy, a home and offering related services such as financing. The firm was established in 2013 and is based in Tempe, Arizona.

The technology provided by the firm allows consumers to list their home, offer virtual tours, receive offers and close the deal. Buyers can view and virtually tour homes at their convenience, shop for financing, and submit an offer online. The firm also acquires homes directly from sellers to renovate and resell to both individual consumers and institutional investors, meaning sellers can choose to list their property with the company or sell it direct to them.

The company offers services such as Buy with Opendoor, List with Opendoor, and Opendoor Home Loans, as well as title and escrow services. Properties are listed via the site, its mobile app, Multiple Listing Services (MLS) and other online real estate portals. The firm can also conduct virtual interior home assessments and contact-free exterior assessment to verify home data information. The firm trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker OPEN.
