National Retail Properties (NNN) is a real estate investment trust (REIT), owning a diversified portfolio of freestanding retail stores across the US. As of August 2020, the trust’s portfolio included more than 3,000 properties, across 48 states, covering 37 diverse lines of trade. The trust has convenience stores, family entertainment, wholesalers and medical services. Tenants include 7-Eleven, Mister Car Wash, Camping World, and LA Fitness. The trust, founded in 1984, has its headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

National Retail Properties is traded on the NYSE, with the ticker NNN. Between 2015 and 2020, the NNN share price has ranged between $26.46 and $58.15. At the start of 2020, the trust had a healthy dividend yield of 5.6%.

The total assets of NNN exceeded $1bn in 2001. It was included in the S&P High Yield Dividend Aristocrats Index for the first time in 2012. At that point, the total assets of NNN exceeded $4bn. In 2019, the trust paid out its 30th consecutive increased annual dividend, with a five-year average annual dividend growth rate of 4.0%.
