Vail Resorts, Inc., in conjunction with its subsidiaries, is a leading mountain resort company that facilitates luxury and destination-based travel and holidays. Headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, the company operates locally in the United States and was incorporated in 1997.

Vail Resorts operates through three segments. The Mountain segment owns and manages approximately 37 destination mountain resorts alongside regional ski areas. It provides supplementary services that include skiing lessons and dining experiences. Additionally, this segment also deals with retail and rental operations, as well as estate brokering services. The Vail Resorts Lodging segment focuses on luxury hotels and condominiums. It also explores other lodging-type properties and markets these under the RockResorts brand. A variety of these condominiums are located close to the company’s mountain and destination resorts, with amenities such as golf courses and resort ground transportation services. The Real Estate segment owns, develops, and sells properties.

Vail Resorts aims to provide its guests and other customers with a holistic experience. The company furthers sustainability agendas, which endeavour to impact the environment as little as possible. Vail Resorts trades under the MTN ticker on the NYSE.
