Liontown Resources Ltd is an Australian materials and resources company primarily engaged in the exploration and evaluation of minerals. The firm’s projects include the Kathleen Valley Lithium Project and the Buldania Lithium project, both based in Western Australia. The company was founded 2006 and has its headquarters in Perth, Western Australia.

The company’s flagship Kathleen Valley Lithium Project is a Tier-1 discovery, with the current resource base supporting an initial approximate 23-year life of the mine. The firm is also engaged in the development of the Moora Project which comprises three contiguous, granted exploration licenses, forming approximately 467 km2. Liontown Resources holds 51% equity in the Koojan project, which is located adjacent to the Moora project, along the western boundary. This increases the exploration footprint in this area to around 1100 km2.

In 2021 Canadian company Currie Rose struck a deal with Liontown to acquire 100% of the Toolebuc Vanadium Project in North Queensland. The deal involved the issue of 12,500,000 ordinary shares at a deemed value of $475,000 AUD to Liontown, along with 4,000,000 share purchase warrants. Liontown Resources Ltd is listed on the ASX where it trades under the stock ticker LTR.
