The company owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG and Corpus Christi LNG terminals. Cheniere Energy also owns Creole Trail pipeline, a 94-mile pipeline that connects the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, to various interstate pipelines. Additionally, the company operates Corpus Christi pipeline, which connects Corpus Christi LNG terminal with a variety of interstate and intrastate natural gas pipelines through 23 miles of natural gas supply pipeline. The company offers customers the option of loading LNG onto their own vessels at the company's terminals or having Cheniere Energy deliver the LNG to regasification facilities worldwide.

Cheniere Energy trades on the NYSE under the ticker LNG. Aside from its locations in the United States, the company operates offices in London, Singapore, Washington, Beijing, and Tokyo. As of December 2021, Cheniere Energy is in the process of constructing a sixth liquefaction unit at Sabine Pass LNG, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2022. In addition to its other activities, the company is also involved in the marketing of LNG and natural gas.
