Lamar Advertising Company is one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world. The firm is engaged in the sale and operation of large-scale outdoor advertising methods such as billboards, interstate logo signs, and transit displays in the United States and Canada. The company was founded in 1902 was and is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The firm helps both local businesses and national brands to reach their audience, offering more than 351,000 traditional display formats across North America. In addition, the firm offers around 3,800 digital billboards across the country, which are computer-controlled electronic displays located on highways, major arteries and city streets. The firm is the largest digital display company in the United States, offering the technology for organisations to instantly update ads, with no production costs, and even stream live data and user-generated content from their websites to the advertising billboard.

The firm has a network of offices throughout the United States with locations in most states and also in British Columbia and Ontario in Canada. The firm is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange where it trades under the stock ticker LAMR.
