KraneShares CSI China Internet is a China-focused exchange traded fund operated by Krane Funds Advisors, LLC. The goal of the ETF is to track and mirror the results of publicly traded Chinese companies that focus on internet services. Please note that while KraneShares CSI is an ETF that is incorporated in the US, Krane Funds Advisors, LLC, is majority-owned by a Chinese company called CICC (China International Capital Corporation). The fund aims to measure the performance strength of company stocks listed on the exchange and determine how investable they are. The companies considered are only companies whose main source of funds is the internet or related to the internet.

KraneShares CSI provides investors with access to the Chinese equivalent of companies similar to Google, Facebook, and Twitter, allowing investors to gain exposure to China’s growing middle class and its increased consumption trends. Investors will be exposed to Chinese internet companies with stocks listed in Hong Kong and the US. The fund uses USD as its base currency.
