Infosys Limited is an Indian multinational information technology company that provides business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services to an international customer base in more than 50 countries worldwide. The firm was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The firm primarily provides its clients with business information and technology services, including engineering, application development and maintenance, and infrastructure management.

The firm serves more than 1,700 clients around the world, in various sectors, including banking and finance, energy, healthcare, communications, insurance, manufacturing, telecom, retail, and consumer goods. The company has a strong focus on enabling digital transformation with the aid of AI powered technology solutions. The firm employs around 279,000 people globally.

In 2021, the firm was recognised as one of the Fastest Growing Top 10 IT Services Brands by Brand Finance, and as a Global Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute. It was also named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute. Infosys makes almost all of its sales overseas, with North America accounting for 60% of the total.
