iShares Core 5-10 Year USD Bond ETF IMTB

The iShares Core 5-10 Year USD Bond ETF is an exchange traded fund that seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg U.S. Universal 5-10 Years Index, an index comprised of U.S. dollar-denominated bonds that are rated either investment-grade or high yield, all of which have remaining effective maturities between five and ten years. The fund is managed by Blackrock, a major global provider of exchange traded funds, headquartered in New York City. The fund was established in 2016.

The fund aims to provide exposure to intermediate-term U.S. dollar-denominated investment grade and high yield bonds, offering investors low cost, targeted access to government, corporate, securitised and emerging market bonds that will mature in the next 5 to 10 years. The fund has over 2000 holdings in a variety of sectors, including financial, government, and industrial.

The distribution frequency of the fund is monthly. The fund will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index, and may invest up to 10% of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents including shares of money market funds advised by BFA or its affiliates. The fund is listed on the NYSE under the ticker IMTB.
