What Is Hyzon Motors Inc.?
Hyzon Motors Inc. is a global supplier of zero-emissions hydrogen fuel cell powered commercial vehicles, which includes medium- and heavy-duty trucks, city buses, and coaches. The company is a subsidiary of Singapore-based Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies. Hyzon was founded in 2019 with its headquarters located in Rochester, New York. It operates in Europe, Singapore, Australia, and China.

The company designs, develops, and manufactures hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles and fuel cell systems. It also provides hydrogen mobility solutions, from hydrogen supply to fuel cell lifecycle management and vehicle leasing. Hyzon is in the process of developing the SuperH2Truck, a hydrogen-powered truck with a fuel cell optimised chassis. Its products serve shipping and logistics companies, retail customers with distribution networks, as well as mining and port equipment manufacturers and operators.

Hyzon takes advantage of the abundance and versatility of hydrogen in the atmosphere for the sustainability of its vehicles. The company believes that large-scale development of this technology leads to reduction of emissions brought by transportations. As of 2021, Hyzon trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker HYZN. In 2021, it merged with Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corp. under the name Hyzon Motors, Inc.
