Robinhood is an online stockbroker that provides an investment platform for commission-free trading in stocks, options, cryptocurrencies, and ETFs. Operating predominantly in the US, the company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Menlo Park California.

Robinhood’s trading app primarily targets millennial and Gen-Z investors and aims to democratise trading. The fintech outfit held their IPO in July 2021, offering 52.4 million shares at $38 apiece.
