Fluence Energy, Inc. is an energy storage company that aims to create a sustainable future through power and energy transformation. It was founded in 2018 with its headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Fluence is a result of two energy industry powerhouses Siemens and AES uniting their experience and scale for energy innovation. It operates in 30 markets worldwide to explore local market challenges and collaborate with clients to solve energy problems.

Fluence Energy offers Fluence Gridstack, a grid-scale, industrial-strength energy storage product. Its design deals with the most demanding market applications in terms of scalability and safety. Its flexible configurability allows clients to tailor it to their own needs. It is also cost-effective due to its hardware and software configurations, which is also assisted by artificial intelligence and machine learning. In 2021, Fluence was recognised as the #1 Utility-Scale Energy Storage Systems Integrator by Guidehouse.

Fluence's other products Sunstack and Edgestack are built similarly to Gridstack, but for different purposes. Sunstack aims to maximise solar capture and delivery, while the Edgestack flattens energy load profile. The company started trading on the NASDAQ in 2021 under the ticker FLNC.
