Corsair Gaming was founded in 1994 and has its headquarters in Fremont, California.

In December 2020, the CRSR share price showed a 52-week low of $14.09 and a 52-week high of $51.37, with a market cap of $3.38bn. Corsair went public in September 2020, raising $119m with its initial public offering, putting the firm’s market capitalisation at around $1.54bn.

Corsair Gaming also owns Elgato, which produces studio equipment and accessories aimed at content creators; SCUF Gaming; which provides custom-designed game controllers; and Origin PC, which makes custom-designed desktop and laptop PCs. Some of the firm’s products have won awards, with its Obsidian Series computer cases previously taking Product of the Year in the Readers’ Choice Awards.
