What Is Boyd Gaming?
Boyd Gaming Corporation operates as a casino entertainment company within the United States. It has gaming entertainment properties in multiple jurisdictions and is one of the largest casino operators in the US. Founded in 1975, Boyd Gaming has its headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Boyd Gaming operates its business through three segments: Las Vegas Locals, Downtown Las Vegas, and Midwest & South. Through the Las Vegas Locals segment, the company manages eight casinos, including Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa, Cannery Casino Hotel, Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel, Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, Jokers Wild Casino, The Orleans Hotel and Casino, Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, and Suncoast Hotel and Casino. The Downtown Las Vegas segment is responsible for managing three properties, while the Midwest & South segment manages another 11 properties.

Available on the NYSE, Boyd Gaming is listed under the ticker BYD. As of December 2021, Boyd Gaming owns and operates 28 gaming properties in 10 states, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The company also owns and operates a travel agency. On 8 March 2021, Boyd Gaming and FanDuel Group announced plans to launch Stardust-branded online casinos in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
