BECHTLE AG was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Neckarsulm, Germany. It is the country’s largest IT systems integrator and IT e-commerce provider, focusing on areas such as digitalisation, cloud computing, mobility, security, and IT as a Service.

Bechtle's portfolio features over 70,000 hardware and software products. It also has its own brand, Articona, which offers a portfolio of 1,400 products related to different IT accessories and advanced connection technology.

The company has about 70 system integrators and operates in 14 countries. Bechtle has 65 Competence Centres, 22 Training Centres, and serves about 70,000 customers, mainly in the industrial, financial, trade and public sectors. The company has an impressive number of industry awards and collaborates with approximately 300 different vendors.

Bechtle announced its IPO in 2000, and is indexed in MDAX and TecDAX. From January to March 2019, the company reported that revenue increased 29.8% as compared to the prior-year quarter. That same year, Bechtle signed off on a dividend payout of €1.00 per no par share, an increase of 11.1% as compared to the previous year.
