What Is ARK Innovation ETF?
ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) is an actively managed equity ETF that was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in New York. The fund includes a variety of companies that benefit from the creation of new products and services, developments in DNA technologies, industrial innovations, fintech innovations and next-generation internet. In general, it has an investment theme of disruptive innovation. ARKK is the largest ETF managed on the market, as of August 2020.

ARK Innovation ETF has the NYSE ticker ARKK. Between September 2015 and August 2020, the ARKK share price hit a low of $14.67 (February 2016) and a high of $86.39 (August 2020).

ARKK seeks long-term growth of capital through its investments in domestic and foreign equity securities of companies. In June 2020, the ARK Innovation ETF included holdings in Tesla Inc, Invitae Corp and Square Inc, among others. The fund is heavily weighted towards health care and information technology assets. ARK Innovation ETF offers exposure to a range of sectors, allowing you to increase the diversity of your portfolio.
