What Is Vanguard Total World Stock ETF?
The Vanguard Total World Stock is an exchange traded fund that aims to replicate the performance of the FTSE Global All Cap Index. Managed by the Vanguard Group Inc., this ETF was launched in 2008 and is domiciled in the United States.

The Vanguard Group, founded in 1975, is a leading global investment management company. As of November 2021, the organisation administers approximately 440 low-cost traditional funds and exchange traded funds. Headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, it operates worldwide through an estimated 18 locations. As of January 2021, the company manages $7.2tn in global assets. The Vanguard Total World Stock ETF invests in US and foreign stocks in both developed and emerging markets.

This ETF uses USD as base currency and invests the majority of its assets in the common stock of companies listed on the FTSE Global All Cap Index. The top five companies in which the fund invests are Apple, Inc. Microsoft Corp., Alphabet, Inc., Amazon.com, Inc, and Tesla, Inc. As of November 2021, the ETF’s fund total net assets stand at $33.6bn. The fund trades on the NYSE under the VT.US ticker
