What Is Valmet Corporation?
Valmet dates back to 1750 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. The company was formed through the demerger of the pulp, paper and power businesses from the Metso Group in December 2013. This global developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries employs around 13,000 professionals working in more than 30 countries.

Valmet operates through four business segments: Services, Pulp and Energy, Paper and Automation. The company is active in five geographical areas: Asia Pacific, China, EMEA, and North and South America.

In 2019, Valmet announced that is had signed a global agreement with Sirio Solutions Engineering which authorises the new partner to sell and deliver Valmet’s automation products and solutions to end customers in the oil and gas, power generation and gas processing industries around the world,
