Outokumpu dates back to 1910 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. This global stainless steel manufacturer employs 10,000 professionals in more than 30 countries and is organised into four business areas – Europe, Americas, Long Products and Ferrochrome.

The company’s product offering covers all stainless steel grade families, including standard, high-alloyed austenitic stainless steel, duplex grade, ferritic and martensitic stainless steels. In addition, the company offers tailored products based on specific grade contents, dimensions, surface finishes and tolerances.

The company operates production facilities in Finland, Germany, Mexico, Sweden, the UK, and the USA. In addition, it has a broad sales and service centre network close to our customers worldwide. The company’s recycled content varies between 70% and 90%.

Outokumpu shares are listed in the Nasdaq Helsinki. In 2018, Outokumpu’s sales amounted to 6.9 billion euros and stainless steel deliveries to 2.4 million tonnes.
