MTU AERO ENGINES AG was launched in Munich in 1934 and is an engine manufacturer involved in the design, development, manufacturing, marketing and support procedures for commercial and military aircraft engines in all thrust and power categories and stationary gas turbines.

The company’s areas of expertise include low-pressure turbines, high-pressure compressors, turbine centre frames, manufacturing processes and repair techniques. The company employs approximately 10,000 people in 15 different locations around the world and continues to grow.

Its Maintenance division also offers a variety of repair solutions for different engine types. For instance, MTU is the leading global provider of all maintenance and repair services for the V2500 engine, which powers the Airbus A320 aircrafts.
