What Is Incitec Pivot Limited?
Incitec Pivot Limited manufactures and distributes fertilisers, industrial explosives and industrial chemicals. Founded in 1831, the company operates internationally and has its headquarters in Southbank, Australia.

The fertilisers manufactured and distributed by Incitec Pivot include di/mono-ammonium phosphate, ammonia, single super phosphate, granulated ammonium sulphate and urea. The company also imports and sells fertilisers. In terms of industrial explosives, Incitec Pivot manufactures and sells ammonium nitrate, alongside services and related products to the construction, mining and quarrying sectors. The company also manufactures, imports and sells industrial chemicals to the specialist and agriculture industries.

Stock for Incitec Pivot is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker IPL. The company’s stock has been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since August 2003. In January 2022, Incitec Pivot announced the acquisition of France-based Titanobel Group, a leading industrial explosives manufacturer and service provider in a deal for €91m. In December 2021, Incitec Pivot Fertilisers acquired a majority stake in Australian Bio Fert Pty Ltd in a deal for $38m. The company has plans to build Australia’s first largescale plant to create a category of new, sustainable fertilisers.
