Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB, or FEMSA, through its subsidiaries, operates in the beverage and retail industry and develops and markets Coca-Cola trademark beverages. The company, which was founded in 1890, has its headquarters in Monterrey, Mexico. As of October 2021, FEMSA operates internationally in 13 countries.

The company’s products include carbonated drinks, juices, nectars, carbonated and flavoured waters, and sports and energy drinks. Further to its bottling operations, FEMSA also owns and manages box-retail and drug stores and service stations throughout North and South America. The company trades on the NYSE under the FMX stock ticker.
