iShares MSCI Mexico ETF EWW

The iShares MSCI Mexico ETF is an exchange traded fund that seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI Mexico IMI 25/50 Index, which is an index composed of Mexican equities. The fund was established in 1996, and is managed by Blackrock, a major global provider of exchange traded funds and other investment products which offers over 300 different types of ETFs. Blackrock is headquartered in New York City.

The fund primarily aims to provide investors with low cost, targeted exposure to a broad range of companies located in Mexico. The underlying index is a free float-adjusted market cap-weighted index with a capping methodology applied to issuer weights. This means that no single issuer exceeds 25% of the underlying index weight, and all issuers with a weight above 5% do not cumulatively exceed 50% of the underlying index weight.

The fund will generally invest at least 80% of its assets in the securities of its underlying index and in depositary receipts representing securities in its underlying index. The iShares MSCI Mexico ETF is listed on the NYSE under the stock ticker EWW.
