Essity was founded in Sweden in 1929. This global hygiene and health company offers a wide range of products and solutions that are sold in around 150 countries. The largest markets for the company in terms of sales are the US, Germany, China, France, the UK, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, the Netherlands and Italy.
The company operates via a line of brands that include TENA, Tork, JOBST, Leukoplast, Libero, Libresse, Lotus, Nosotras, Saba, Tempo, Vinda and Zewa. Essity employs about 47,000 employees around the world.

In the personal care sector, the company offers incontinence products, baby care, feminine care and medical solutions. Essity is the world’s second largest supplier of consumer tissues, selling toilet paper, handkerchiefs, facial tissues, wet wipes, napkins, and other products. It is also the world’s largest supplier of professional hygiene products and services, including toilet paper, paper hand towels, napkins, hand soap and dispensers.
