What Is Charter Hall Group?
Charter Hall Group is a diversified real estate investment trust operating in Australia. The company’s investment equities include retail, industrial and logistics infrastructure. Based in Sydney, the Charter Hall Group was founded in 1991.

Charter Hall Group works to access, deploy, manage and invest in equity across a range of core real estate sectors, including retail, office, social and industrial and logistics. As of March 2022, the company’s portfolio includes 1,516 properties, encompassing early learning centres, retail centres, industrial properties and premium office buildings.

In December 2021, Charter Hall announced the acquisition of two childcare portfolios that included 21 properties in a deal for $134.3m. This acquisition included the Western Australia Bowman Group Childcare Portfolio as well as three newly constructed childcare centres leased to Nino Early Learning. Also in December 2021, the company announced a new strategic partnership with fund manager Paradice Investment Management. This partnership included a 50% interest investment in Paradice, which has $18.2bn funds under its management. The acquisition is expected to diversify and expand Charles Hall’s existing investment offerings. Listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, stock for Charter Hall Group trades under the ticker CHC.
