As an industry forerunner, the company was established by Robert J. Shillman, William Silver and Marilyn Matz in 1981, and is based in Natick, Massachusetts. Through offices located in America, Europe and Asia, Cognex Corp conducts business with approximately 400 channel partners. In the competitive field of vision technology, COGNEX is a seasoned leader.
