Aurizon Holdings Limited is a rail freight operation company that operates in Australia. It is Australia’s largest rail freight operator. It was founded in 2010 and is based in Fortitude Valley, which is close to the city of Brisbane in Australia.

It was known in the past as QR National Limited and has since been renamed. As of March 2022, the company transports over 250 million tonnes of various commodities each year, as well as connecting key producers, industry and miners with both global and domestic markets.

The company has a number of relevant divisions, including specific ones for coal and bulk transportation. It also serves a number of consumer demand points such as grocery distribution. It employs approximately 5000 members of staff in its business. It is well known for running the Central Queensland Coal Network, which has close to 3,000 kilometres of track and is one of the largest coal networks in the world. It also offers a variety of supply chain solution services and has a rail design arm as well. It is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker AZJ.
