What Is Avon Rubber PLC?
Avon Rubber PLC is a designer and manufacturer of respiratory and ballistic protection products. It was founded in 1885 and is based in the UK, although it operates across the globe. Its registered office is based in Melksham in Wiltshire. Some of its target markets (in geographic terms) include the US, Italy and Brazil, where it maintains subsidiaries. Its clients include militaries, law enforcement and more.

The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is listed under the ticker AVON. The price to buy AVON in late 2020 was £3,020. Also in that period, its share price went down significantly, and it saw around 14% of its price wiped in one day. As of 17 December, the company has continued to see a strong demand in its respiratory protection range.

The first division of the firm is Avon Protection and the second is milkrite | InterPuls. Some of its products are designed to defend individuals against breathing problems caused by biological, chemical or other similar negative environments. Its other major product arm focuses on agriculture. It provides tools such as thermal image capture technology and other milking tools designed to help dairy farmers streamline their processes.
