Atlas Arteria Ltd ALX.ASX

Atlas Arteria is a toll road holding and operating firm based in Melbourne, Australia but operating in the US and in some European markets including France and Germany. It was set up in 2009 and it manages the Dulles Greenway toll among others.

This company’s stock is traded on the Australian Stock Exchange. It is listed on the stock exchange under the ticker ALX. The ALX share price in late 2020 was $5.10. It holds a stake in the toll road’s operating company.

In addition to the Dulles toll, which manages traffic flows near to a major Washington, DC airport, it also has tolls in France and Germany. It used to be known as Macquarie Atlas Roads Limited but changed its name in 2018. In November 2020 it was described in the financial press as trading at a potential 40% discount when forecast using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method. In a 2020 update, the firm said that the second pandemic lockdown in France had not hit its traffic numbers as much as the first one earlier in the year.
