BYD Company Limited was founded in 1995 and is focused on developing innovative solutions for the electronics, automobile, new energy and rail transit industries. The company offers over 30 industrial parks around the world and its new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer ranked No.1 in global sales for three consecutive years, with a wide range of internal combustion (IC), hybrid and battery-electric passenger vehicles.

BYD Company’s commercial vehicles operations have a presence in various market segments, including: buses, coaches and taxis; logistics; construction and sanitation vehicles; vehicles for warehousing, port; airport and mining operations, and more.

The company has developed seven conventional types of commercial vehicles and four specialised types. BYD Company is also dedicated to providing zero-emission energy solutions and is responsible for the development of PV+Storage, a new business model focused on renewable energy production, storage and applications
