How to fund your eToro Options account

You’ve done your research, signed up for an account, and now you’re ready to trade options. Well, almost. First, you’ll need to fund your account.

Since this opportunity is only open to select Club members, it’s likely that funding methods will change in the future; however, these are the ways in which you are able to fund your account today.

Transfer From eToro

The first (and simplest) way to fund your eToro Options account is by transferring money from your eToro investment account. After you make sure you have funds in your investment account, you’ll be free to transfer those funds to your eToro Options account. You can do this by clicking the “Transfer from eToro Account” button on the “Fund your account” screen.

After that, simply enter the amount you’d like to transfer, and your money should be moved into your eToro Options account in just a few business days — it’s that simple.

Send an international wire

If you want to transfer money directly from your non-US bank account, you’ll have to complete a wire transfer. While this is a more complex option than simply transferring from your eToro investment account, we’ve outlined the steps you should take below. Please note, we cannot accept wires from corporate accounts, trust accounts or bank accounts belonging to another person.

First, click “or Send a Wire”. When you do, you should see the information you’ll need to pass along to your bank, including bank name, bank address, SWIFT code, account number, and more.

Make a note of all this information, then head over to your bank to complete the wire transfer process. You can get more information about the wire transfers from your bank by clicking the links below:

If you’re struggling to complete the wire transfer, you can always reach out to our customer service team. Open a customer service ticket by going to “Contact Us,” selecting “Deposit” as the type of query and “Status of wire transfer” as what you would like help with. Please specify in the notes that you want to wire money to your eToro Options account, and our customer service team will be in touch with further instructions.
