What inspired you to get started in crypto?
I got a call from a friend that I have a lot of respect for, and he told me I should check out this thing called Ethereum. I blindly followed his advice and invested a little bit of money. This inspired me to do some research on cryptocurrencies, and that research quickly consumed me. The more I started to research, the more I found myself investing in various crypto assets. The rest is history. I quit my job, and I’ve been investing full- time and starting businesses in the cryptocurrency industry ever since.
You wrote a book about crypto and also have a podcast. Can you tell us more about them?
Absolutely! The book is called Crypto Revolution: Your Guide To The Future of Money. It’s all about showing the everyday investor strategies for investing in cryptocurrencies. As for the Crypto 101 Podcast, we interview leading experts in the space and break down their seemingly complex projects in a way that anyone can understand. My team and I also host a free online Digital Currency Summit, where we pull together 47 leading experts in the industry and share our best crypto investment opportunities. Each year, we have over 150,000 people attend. It’s been pretty amazing and rewarding, to say the least.
The crypto space is rapidly evolving. What are you most excited about in the future?
There’s just so much I’m excited about that I just don’t know where to begin! It’s hard to put a finger on just one thing I’m most excited about. From regulatory clarity, institutions pouring in, real world assets coming on-chain, everything DeFi, ETH’s upgrade, and so much more, there’s a lot out there. I’ll say this: I’ve never been more enthusiastic and confident about the future of crypto. It’s crazy to look back at where the industry was when I got started.
