If you are an eligible eToro Club member in the UK or Europe with an active eToro Money crypto wallet and an active eToro GBP account or EUR account, you can sell your Bitcoin and/or Ethereum for GBP or EUR.

You can also transfer your crypto to the eToro wallet either from the eToro investment platform or from an external source (crypto wallet or exchange). 

Currently, selling crypto for GBP or EUR on eToro is available for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).

Yes. BTC or ETH positions that you are invested in on the eToro platform can be transferred to your eToro Money crypto wallet, and then converted to GBP or EUR.

Yes. If you hold BTC or ETH in an external wallet or exchange, you may transfer it to your eToro Money crypto wallet, and then convert it to GBP or EUR on eToro.

Please note: The only fee that applies when you transfer crypto from an external source is a blockchain fee. For more information about this, please refer to the eToro Fees page.

You can sell your BTC or ETH in the eToro Money crypto wallet for your local currency (either GBP or EUR, depending on country of residence). 

1. Open your BTC or ETH wallet in the eToro Money app’s Crypto tab. 
2. Tap Sell to convert your BTC or ETH into GBP or EUR. 
3. The funds are credited to your GBP account or EUR account accordingly.

• The conversion process can take up to 15 minutes.
• eToro’s maximum slippage guarantee ensures that you receive at least 95% of the expected value when converting crypto, even if market price changes affect the conversion rate. 

Yes. A conversion fee is charged when converting BTC/ETH to GBP/EUR. For information about conversion fees, please refer to the eToro Fees page.

The limit for selling each crypto for GBP or EUR is displayed in the table below in USD, and will be calculated according to either GBP or EUR respectively.
